Online Image

I believe the concept of this photo is when we feed into our brain. This symbolizes how we constantly consume all the negative things in our head and feed into the delusions our brain makes us believe.

Suspenseful Online Image

This photo I found on the internet depicts a very suspenseful scenario. I chose this photo because it looks like a mysterious person going to the woods. I thought this image would be perfect for this assignment. That being, when I think of lighting and shadows I think of suspense and scary things. This photo fits in all those categories, it makes me want to know where this person is going next. This photo has fog, long trees,  shadows, darkness as well as lighting. It supports everything in this assignment and looks like it has a story behind it. Which makes this photo very interesting and unique to look at. I also like how they include very specific details such as an umbrella which shows where this person can potentially come from.

Rope in a circular motion (Web)

Wet concrete (Web)

These two images I found from the web are very detailed and represent a perfect example of textured images. The rope image depicts a very unusual pattern and unique texture. Although it’s very unusual it’s very soothing to the eye and looks very satisfying. As for the wet concrete it looks very calming and reminds me of winter. The texture of this image is significant because it’s contrast and exposure makes it looks very aesthetic and comfy.

What I Learned About Exposure

I learned that exposure is the amount of light that reaches a cameras sensor, this creates the pictures we see today. Exposure is extremely important because with the right amount of exposure you can get the perfect picture. Exposure is a crucial part of how bright or dark your picture would appear. I learned that the shutter speed is the amount of time when the camera shutter opens to take a photo. This is really beneficial when taking pictures because when taking pictures the faster the shutter speed to more pictures you take faster and a overall better outcome.
